The U14's had their first loss for the season going down 7 to 3 to Lions Gold. Even though the boys tried hard with some fine pitching by Danny Smith, batting by Steve Hughes and fielding by Michael Peterson they were out played by the better side on the day. Big thanks to all the players and families who played and stayed to watch in pretty ordinary conditions ( 100 kmh winds and -20c temp). We showed some signs of the Team we are but just couldn't put it together in consecutive innings, its the first game back after a 3 week layoff due to wet weather and it showed.
