3rd grade got off to a good start against Pirates, scoring 2 runs in the first innings only to see Pirates respond with 7 of their own.Rebels defence was able to hold them to only one more run in the game however Pirate's pitcher Scott Smallman kept the Rebels bats in check with Pirates running out 8-2 winners.
For Rebels Matthew Dodson and Andrew Clyburn played well while it was good to welcome back Brad Mamara after a year off, hopefully he won't be falling off any motor bikes this year.
